I posted this in the AR discussion but think I should have posted here. I have a Timney trigger in my AR and was wondering if that would be a problem with the above 22 conversion kit. It seems I read somewhere it might not work so great but I'm not sure. Other than that what is the general opinion of the kit.
Thanks Steve

Timney 3lb / 4lb: said to be good with all. IMO possible problem with 3lb, some Tac Sol Bolts and standard velocity ammo.
Excerpt from page 11 of the stickied 22 thread that I started. This is the latest info we have as I update the post as info is
given to me.

My opinion of the CMMG Conversion is very high. The Stainless version is extremely high and the  Stainless India kit is the
best conversion ever made to date by anyone...

Dave do you own the India conversion? My CMMG SS evolution kit just developed a neck fracture after <1000 rnds, and I was thinking of replacing it with the India kit but I have not read any real world reviews. I would only be interested if it improved accuracy or durability. On CMMG site they only list improved reliability I had zero issues running my conversion except the neck failure.

Spec and I did testing on the India before it was released. We both had accuracy improvements.
I think it's mostly due to the kit being locked to the barrel.
CMMG decided not to include any claims of accuracy improvements because you know how that goes.
Billy Bob didn't see any improvemnt with his worn out 1/7 barrel and goes to 10 web forums to say so.

That is good news does it take much more time to swap compared to the std unit? Reading the description on the site it seems harder to remove/install due to their reference to being less likely to be removed and tweaked by trainees. Did you guys do a write up or video of your test experience?
Thanks for your help.

We probably did but I can't remember when.
It simply slides in and you turn the brass tab from the 5:00 position to the 6:00 position.
When they are new, sometimes there is a little interference from the feed ramps in the c5.56 chamber. If so, try moving the tab from the 7:00 position to the 6:00.
It does require the BHOA. The tab lines up in the BHOA slot to keep itt positioned correctly.
Probably takes another 5-10 seconds over the conversion kit.
