After reading everything I can find on the RMW DI45 system, I've made a tentative decision to purchase a complete rifle from Bazooka Brothers that utilizes an RMW upper.
I've searched the site and googled and I've drawn some conclusions. Please confirm or flame me for being ignorant/unable to utilize the search tool properly. From what I've found:
I realize I have more questions than answers...thanks in advance for any input or insight you can give on your experience with Ron's system, as well as others I may have overlooked. |

You will love the RMW upper, I do not have the BAZ lower but have shot a couple of them and they work great also. as for the ammo, if you let Ron know that you will be shooting these types of ammo he will open the bolt for it (he uses factory Bushmaster bolts for the 45 and they tend to be picky as to rim diameter) I have one of the old ones he opened from a 223 and I think it is about .480 and I have no issues with the ammo. I have him building me a 5.5" upper that I will test along side with my KRISS, |

Sorry this post passed me by.
Thanks for the positive comments. With the BAZ lower you can do a minor mod the the mag allowing for it to be seated a little higher in the lower. This makes feeding absolutely flawless. If you get the package from Bruce he is peforming these mods i sugested. Other than that the DI45 is am incredible system. They are so smoothe its hard to believe its a 45. DI45 I was building a can for my custom DI45 & when I was finished we took the can off & was pleasantly suprised.5.5"DI45 |
