It doesn't take long to figure out you gotta have either a bionic thumb or a loader for 9mm mags.  Looking on the internet I've seen several different versions of 9mm mag loaders, is there one that is generally considered the best?

I go through about a case a month... at first I thought the Colt SMG loader was sufficient until I found heavens gift to 9mm AR's, the LULA loader.

Nothing compares.

If you load your 5.56 mags with stripper clips, get the STRIP LULA LOADER

LULA is the way to go...I would go through much less ammo if I didn't have one.

I have one, have to recall the name, Cammenga I think, where I fill it up then just shove them in. Its OK, fast and does the job while saving my thumb.

The Cammenga is da bomb.  I have been using mine for 6+ years and have not a single problem, except when I forget it at home

Repeat after me: "Lula, Lula, Lula."  The "Colt SMG" model is crazy fast and easy, particularly when you put the last few rounds in.  And the Lula will keep your fingers from getting scraped up, too, since the tool is what bears the spring resistance and all your fingers do is pop in the rounds.

Is this the correct Colt LULU loader for 9mm?

No, that's their Universal Pistol mag loader.  You want THIS, the Colt SMG model.
