Does the Lula work on STEN mags?  I've been wanting to get one but, I'm cheap and $35 is a lot for this.  However, I NEED a sten mag loader because, sten mags are the debil!  It would be great if one tool worked for all.

Right out of the box, the Uplula will
not work for Sten mags. Some internal
ribs need to be removed first.

A very nice gentleman here at ARF.com
was nice enough to provide me with the
details some time ago, so I know it can be
made to work.

I will buy one next time I see one...

Can it still be used for pistol mags after the mod?

Yea, OK. I ordered the box loader from IMA.  It was a good excuse to order a couple of extra mags too.

The plunger/sleeve style mags loaders are very tough with sten mags and unpossible w/the 50rd Lancaster? / Lanchester? mags .  the ring loaders are great, the austen mag loader is the best..

I had a steel Sten mag loader, but I
lost it. I then bought two if the Tapco
loaders, but the Uplula would be the
cats meow..
