I'm over all of you armchair .22lr shooters...
Your little guns never work right, and I'm tired of reading about all of your little problems with your little tiny-boolet-chuckers. I'll be back tomorrow to continue reading, but I've reached my threshold of your complaints for this frigg'n evening.

| I was going to get going on a .22, but man, after reading more about it, forget it! Wanted to do some indoors sport shooting (only .22 allowed indoors around here), but if the gun is going to be that big of a hassle, I'll just stay outdoors with my 9mm. :-) Of course, if someone happens to give me a .22, I'll use it. :-) |

I'm kind of lost here. Where are all these major problems you guys are seeing with .22's? Nearly every problem involves someone changing hammer springs or taking the bolts apart and bending the rails. I have 2 dedicated rifles that have thousands of rounds through them. My M4 LE has over 12K with 3 FTE's early.
My drop in kits have been just as reliable so long as I use the right ammo, not Remington or straight lead. 1000's of these CMMG units have been sold. Less than 3% have been returned for problems. You have to understand, the guys who don't have problems, don't come looking for advice on the forums. When a problem arises, thats when they look for help. Andmany times thats when they join a forum. If the CMMG's were not dependable, I wouldn't be here recommending them. Look through any forum on here. You will see multiple issues from every set up and every caliber. Dave N |
