I've had some guys writing me about BHOA problems and cycling problems. I've found out from talking with them that they are trying to use these without adjusting the tabs on the back of the mag.
The magazines have to be adjusted for everything to work properly.
CMMG added the tabs so the user could have a perfect fit for the mag in the users particular lower.
It takes less than a minute to file these down for fit. Just take it slowly.
The mags should fit with little slop but be able to drop free when properly adjusted.

Remember, the BHOA is operated by the mag follower. If the mag isn't seated all the way and properly, BHOA and cycling function will be affected.

Have you tried adjusting the set screw?
A couple other things. The mags are what operate the BHOA. the follower has to ride smoothly in the mag. Sometimes this takes a 100 rounds are so to smooth.
Another issue I found is the inconsistancy in lower mag catch spring pressure.
The mag follower has to overcome the bolt catch spring pressure. I had to take two coils off a bolt catch spring because the depth of the spring hole wasn't drilled at the proper depth.
A quick fix is to put an o-ring around the bolt catch paddle to help relieve the spring pressure.
