Would anyone know where I can purchase a 7.5" barrel for a .22LR upper?
Thanks in advance

I thought you could order a barrel from (name escapes me right now) and CMMG would finish it out for use on a dedicated build?

(I can't find the link to the barrel maker, dammit.)

Clint Beyer is the person you're thinking about.  I already contacted him and he said he only has 5" barrels right now.

Kuehl Precision.
Spike's Tactical
A member whose name I can't call at the moment.
And maybe Clint Beyer.
I bet SpecOps13 could say. The one I'm thinking of is our genius regarding all short .22 ARs.

The most accurate barrel would be from Clint Beyer. I tested an 8" that
was Kick Butt Accurate. It's too bad you can't get Clint to do what you want.
He's a great person to work with... Any way, You have the choices that others
have given you. Good Luck, No matter what you decide...

They are either Wilson or ER Shaw blanks IIRC but I am not sure who finishes them.  Either way, it is pretty hard to mess up a .22lr barrel as long as it is straight and true with a decent bore.  There will be little to no erosion like on a 5.56mm barrel so lifespan should be forever and accuracy should be acceptable for a .22lr pistol.  Their barrels fit the Spikes style collars so if you are fitting to a CMMG bolt you will need a Model 1 or Spike's collar too.

Spikes will cut you one and thread it if needed. Only downside is I had to wait a month for mine to get cut/threaded and shipped.

With a little more tuning with the hammer or recoil spring it will cycle those Aguila subs

Redtazdog: Should I mention you when I'm asked where to get short barrels???? I'd be very happy to do that.
You've always been an expert on the subject IMHO...
