I'm having trouble keeping the mags in the weapon.
It would seem that the mag catch isn't long (deep?) enough to reliably keep the mag in place.

This is with Bushmaster (plastic) carbon 15 9mm mags, as well as C-products 9mm mags.

Is there such thing as a longer magazine catch?

Did you try spinning the mag catch to make it tighter?  Is it worn down?

Yup - try turning the catch one full turn clockwise and see if this solves the problem.

It's tight.  The formed nut is flush with the threads.

Maybe the mags are too thin. :(

Have you tried old Colt or Metalform mags?

Had the exact same issue with the same magazines. RRA does make a longer mag catch which does fix the problem. Last I looked, it wasen't on their site so you'll end up needing to call them direct to get the part number. Mine works like a champ nowadays. Good luck!

to use C-products mags in my 9mm, i continued to turn the mag release button until i had about 2 threads showing before it would hold them.
