Will it smooth out with use? Nice reset though. I have not shot it yet. For those that have put some rounds through theirs does it?
I do like this rifle a lot though. Can't wait to try it out. |

I've been researching this also....some say it does smooth out over time, but it's still a "stock trigger".
I sent Bill Springfield a email asking if he's done any work to the 15-22 triggers yet. This to me seems like the best option. I want to stay single stage and it's alot cheaper than aftermarket triggers. |

This is a reply from Bill Springfield regarding trigger work for the 15-22
Sure I've done quite a few of them. Price runs $39 each for the 4lbs and 3lbs runs $54 I need the trigger, hammer, disconnecter and their springs. Mark the components MP 15, .22 it takes a slightly different technique. Personal check, MO, or cash is fine, return postage is included. |
| I put the JP Ent. springs in my rifle and also a friends rifle, made quite a bit of difference. Mine came out about 3 lbs., my friends about 3.5. Spend the 10 bucks for the springs before doing anything else. It will smooth out with use, but that will take several thousand rounds. |
| I put JP Yellows in mine and I very happy. I was going to send the trigger to Bill Springfield but I think it is fine now. Bill did tell me he could work on the trigger since everything is the same except the selector. FYI - the selector is plastic and a different length than a standard selector. |
