Anyone put a compensator on a Spikes or TacSol complete .22 upper.
I am in a ban state so I have to pin a thread protector or compensator on the muzzle.
Just looking to know if a compensator does more harm (hurting accuracy) than good (reduce recoil and muzzle flip)?
Is a comp worth it or should I stick with the thread protector?

You might notice that target .22s NEVER have other than a plain crown.

Unfortunately, most muzzle brakes will start to fill with lead pretty quickly (see photo below of my Miculek brake after several hundred rounds of .22LR). If you can't have a FH, find a faux FH.

Wow!
That's pretty ugly.  I am going with the thread protector. It will keep the overall length down a bit to.
Also agree with the target crown only for accuracy
Thanks
