Well I got my spikes conversion kit and had some issues with it. I used to have a ST-22 upper which functioned 100% so I need to figure out whats wrong with this.
Loaded a round fed fine, pulled the trigger and nothing. No strike on the case or anything. Eject round fine, then load another same thing. Thanks, and throw some advice if you can. Brad |

There may be some checks Tom wants to run on the whole bolt
assembly with another firing pin installed. That's probably why Tom wants you to send the unit in. Sorry you had trouble with their conversion. It does happen on occasion no matter how hard they try, one will slip by. And believe me they try hard to stop problems like this before they go out to a customer.. Spec |

All things mechanic are subject to Murphy's Law. Things just go wrong sometimes. We never like it when it happens to us, but every once in awhile we have our turn.
The FIRST thing one should do is contact the vendor or maker of the product and let them solve the problem. Tom at Spikes cares very much and is always quick to fix anything that might go wrong. Just do a survey here and see how many folks LOVE Spikes. They have worked hard to gain our trust and our business. Oh, yes I am a fan of theirs. My experiences with them has always been 100% positive. |

Hey guys I edited my above posts. I don't want any hard feelings towards spikes as I have a lot of parts from them and all function great. Things happend as is the case with this kit. No worries should only put me back a week or so.
Thanks Tom and Spikes! Still the best looking and feeling kit out there. |
