I built a dedicated AR-15 22LR.  I used a YHM lower, DPMS LPK, RRA tactical entry stock, and a Tactical Solutions M4 22LR upper.  I used a UTG A2 rear sight that I had laying around.  It will be replaced soon.

The upper fit right into place on the lower.  No gap or rattle.  Fit and finish are great.

I went to the range today and it worked great.  I fired 150 rounds of CCI Blazer and 50 rounds of Federal 550 Bulk Pack.  I had one FTF with the Blazer due to a dud round.  I had no other malfunctions.  Fired brass was ejected with vigor, causing particles of ceiling tile to fall from the brass hitting the ceiling.  It took 2 mags to sight in, due to the UTG sight's knobs apparently being mostly decorative only.

I used two Black Dog mags holding 26 rounds.

I am very pleased with the Tactical Solutions AR-22 M4 Upper.  I give it my highest recommendation.

I have one crappy cell phone picture.  I'll post more taken with a real camera if wanted.

Very nice. Did you shoot any groups or was this just a function test? What type of sight/optics are you planning on using?

This was mostly a function check.  I managed to get that crappy UTG sight dialed in enough to keep all the shots in a group about the size of my hand at 25 yards, the max for the indoor range I was using.  I plan on getting a quality A2 carry handle.  I'm not into optical sights.

Mine has ran without a single failure and I shoot in a monthly competition about 100+ rounds each comp.  I also run it with a TacSol Cascade suppressor no failures.

Congrats. It's nice to hear when people are happy.
Now you're on your way with 22's, be aware they're
very addictive. So many 22 uppers, so little time, money
and ammo supply.
