| Just got my Cheaper Than Dirt cat. and I noticed a 16" M-4 style 22lr upper with a 10rd Black Dog mag by Velocity firearms for 399.99. I thought the price was very good. I've been getting lowers for about 250.00 lately, the thought of a whole dedicated 22 AR for 675.00 or so sounds appealing and is definately a better option than the Umarex. Anyone know anything about Velocity Firearms? |
The last velocity uppers I saw had a poor quality light recoil spring. After the recoil spring and magazine were replaced the upper could be made to function. Its a good idea to get a spare firing pin because with a standard wight hammer the firing pins will break after just a few thousand rounds. If you need firing pins or replacement recoil spring get the Lakeside spring kit from Black Dog Machine and buy his high quality firing pins while your at it.

i just received an aluminum upper, and the bolt will not go into full battery bout 30% of the time when charging?? we think the Delton lower might need some very minor hammer filing?? with the right lower it will be a good choice/product...call 6519835049 and buy direct.. I also purchased a Yugo M70 AK that Dan built and it is awesome!! ranbo |
