I just got a CMMG 15 round and 26 round mag for my upcoming dedicated .22lr build. The 15 round mag fits pretty tight in the mag well, but it isn't that bad. The 26 round mag fits rather loosely though, and I'm worried it might affect function. The mag rocks to the front and rear quite a bit. Will this cause FTF? Should I add some JB weld onto the back of the mag and fit it to my mag well?

I would wait till you have your 22 upper then give it a test run with those mags first.
If the mags give you problems call CMMG.

My 26 rounders are a little sloppy but it still works great.   CMMG is also really good about standing behind their product and if it didn't function when you have your build finished and will make it right.   Betting money is that they will work just fine with out altering them.

The loose fit does not affect function.  You will be good to go.

I got four, they all work great.  And look nicer than the BDM mags.  Though the BDM mags work great too.

mine where doing the same thing and it was driving me crazy, this is kind of a ghetto fix but i used strips of electrical tape on the front and back of the magazine keeping them above the bottom of the mag well. its nice and tight and still slides out and functions with out all that rattle and slop

Thanks for the replies,
I think I'll try them out once. After that, I'll probably still fit them even if they do work 100%.
