| I'm thinking about building a 9mm upper myself. I have instructions on how to do a reg .223 upper. I can't seem to find anything on just a 9mm build. Is it the same as a .223 but without a gas tube? I'm looking at getting a spike's tactical upper to build on. Any kind of help would be great. |

Simply insert barrel to upper, tighten barrel retaining nut, install bolt, all done... anything forward of the barrel nut is optional. Yup. It's exactly the same as a .223 without the gas tube, and since you don't need gas, you can do anything you like for a sight. Building a 9mm upper is very simple to do and quite quick with the right tools. |
