Rifle: 10.5in 1/9 twist, Spikes conversion
I got the kit at the begining of this week and took it out last night knowing that I would probably need to "tune" the kit to make it run flawlessly on my setup. I got a stovepipe 1 out of 3 trigger pulls. I shot 50 rounds through the system and only got 5 shots off consecuativly 1 time. after that it was stovepipe every 3rd round. My question is what are they tuning procedures for this kit? I know it is trimming the coils on the recoil spring (located on the back half of the bolt carrier. How do I go about this? Also my kit came with a second spring approx 10in long what is it for? thanks mike |
