Cannot get my bolt to hold open. Anything I can do to fix it before having to send it back to RRA.

Thanks.

We're all having BHO problems.

As to your rifle's issue of holding bolt open, I'd suggesting a little more description of the problem.  How many magazines have you tried.  Does it ever lock open?  Can you manually lock it open?e?

With RRA factory 9mm guns?

Haven't heard much about that at all.  What seems to be the problem.

BHO stands for something else as well...

Congratulations

your complete vagueness has trumped the ARF.com collective hive mind.  If you cannot be assimilated, I suggest you send it back to RRA.

A litte more info would help out bunchs.  Mag in or mag out?

Can you manually hold it open?

Did it used to work?

anything would help.

What type of magazine are you using?

What we've got here....       is a failure to communicate.

That's an understatement.

My apologies for not better communicating my problem. It does not matter whether the mag is in or out, pulling back on the charging handle and pressing on the tab to hold the bolt iIf I push down real real real hard, it will barely catch the bolt, however, the slightest bump sends it forward. I currently have only 1 mag, the one sent by RRA.

Okay. To get the bolt hold open to work you need a magazine that works with the bolt hold open feature. Colt(old Colt mags same as Metalform new Colt mags same as CProducts.), CProducts, Promag, Metalform, Spike's(same as Metalform)

The RRA mags will not hold the bolt open.

If you want to hold the bolt open manually you have to "pull out" on the bolt release paddle while pulling the charging handle to the rear. "Pushing in" is for releasing the bolt. (unless you are pushing on the little nub under the paddle)

One other thing...maybe the magblock is too low in the mag well?
