I'm trying to figure out if I should go for a threaded barrel or a 3-lug for my 9mm SMG.  I have a SWR Trident 9 with a LCD for my S&W MP9.

Should I go for a 3 lug barrel of threaded...I'm having trouble deciding.....

Tough choice, three lug is more expensive, but gives you positive lockup.  Threaded is cheaper and shorter, but can spin loose leaving the possibility of baffle strikes.  I'm going 3 lug, and can't wait for my Trident to come in.

Hadn't thought about it spinning loose - good point.  Any other opinions?

Anyone actually sell the 3 lug aside from the manufacturer?

For a SMG, the three lug is the best way to go.  IMHO.  When doing mag dumps, you don't have time to check if your can is spinning off.
