Does anyone know what a completed one of these, without buttstock costs?

Also, does it need a special recoil buffer, or will a regular carbine buffer work?

They are not available completed. You have to buy the 10% from Justin and get Thompson machine to finish it for you. The unfinised lower runs around $300.00 and finishing will cost $80.00 plus shipping and anodizing. The buffer will depend on what upper you use. Its a pain in the butt to get completed but WELL worth the trouble IMHO.

Probably go the Cav Arms route.  I wanted to use an adjustable stock, but I just can't afford to unload $300 for a paperweight.

Yes there are other options. I was specifically talking about CNC machining. He specifically calls his the AR45.

Too much money for a receiver that won't function without major machine work.  Probably just go the Cav arms route.

If Justin has one in stock, it only took two weeks to get the lower finished and to my dealer.

it really depends on when Richard has time to run a batch of receivers. He is quick on finishing and shipping but he stays pretty busy doing contract work right now. Once he starts a batch of AR45s it usually only takes a week or 10 days. His work is excellent .
