Okay, got these parts in the mail today. Anyone know where the spring goes?

There's a recess (or should be) for it on the backside of the shell deflector.

Oh and they are a motherf*cker to install. The spring pressure is severe enough it makes it tough to get the port door pin installed without the door spring popping out.
