I have a 9mm with some issues.

Setup:
9-Q buffer.
Hahn  dedicated block.
Kns Pins.
9mm hammer.
Colt upper.
Double Star Lower.
CP mags.
UN ramped bolt (garrison)

Ammo was WWB.

It shoots but has problems ejecting.
When it does eject it won't cock the hammer for the next shot.
I checked the ejector and it's a little wobbly.
CP mags are older with the X stamp on them.
They havent been updated with new followers.

any ideas?

I had the same problem.  About 1 in 3 would FTE.

After getting new followers, shifting my magblock around, tweeking the ejector so that it almost rubbed the bolt, adding a little tension to my extractor, and replacing the 1/8x1/2 roll pin with one 3/4" long, my #1 CP mag ran great, but #2 was FTEing about 1 in 10.  Havent fired it in a few weeks, I went through 500 rounds one day trying to get it going.

Runs flawless with my Colt and Promags.  Ran flawless for the 5K rounds before I tried CP mags.

ETA:  My build is all RRA with the exception of the DPMS LPK.  Still have an unramped bolt.

I've heard of this modification.  What exactly does it accomplish?

The stock RRA roll pin is too short and can eventually walk around interferring with proper extractor operation.  The longer roll pin prevents this.
