I set up my SBR 7.5" .223 1-9 twist with the Ciener kit, took it out of the box installed the bolt assembly and loaded a mag. Rifle has a Eotech on it. Fired at target 25 yards away, all 30 rounds grouped in a nice little group was very impressed especially after reading about all the dedicated uppers and accuracy problems, three mags latter it started to jam, I took it apart and saw that the recoil spring was bound up, the guide rod was up inside the bolt and the spring was hanging out the side.
My question is this, what keeps the rod back in the hole at the rear of the rail assembly? I don't know if I lost a part or what, the rod just slids forward and the spring falls out
Also who sells parts for these? springs and such...Thanks......

The guide rod is longer than the space between the Reciever plate and bolt assembly. Should'nt be any room for it to jump out. Unless somehow the little metal ring on the end of the guide rod fell off or broke. Theres a pic of the guide rod here.  The first link shows where to get new springs. Spare parts available here.

A: Spring pressure does... I think u are missing the roll pin located in front of the "rodway" on the bolt.

All the rods that I have seen dont have a washer, Its actually a shoulder machined onto the rod.
