Been having alot of FTE's with colt & mod uzi mags. When cleaning my gun noticed that the ejector is loose. Any body else have this problem? My Colt is nice and tight.

Call HAHN PRECISION and complain that the ejector is loose.

Common problem with their "precision" blocks.

If you choose to deal with it yourself, peen or shim the slot to secure the ejector from moving.

Subguns.com  posters have posted about the loose ejectors for a couple year now.

yep, I had the same problem w/a hahn block.  I changed out the hahn block w/a friends block that was much tighter/stiffer and immediately solved all my FTE problems.  The website and emails back and forth to hahn, indicate that its supposed to be loose, but my original one was way to loose w/tons of front/back and side to side movement.

I had the same issue when i initially picked up my block except it was not loose just poorly positioned, this is a problem not just with hahn blocks but also with some of the 6450's when they come out of the box

after slightly bending the ejector to almost ride along the bolt if not just touching it has run 100% ever since throgh a thousand rounds, once it is not loose check to see how close it is to the bolt, it should be right against it,

I found this answer on these forums somewhere else and it fixed my problem completely

The very first place to look is in the EXTRACTOR, if a case isn't held firmly against the bolt face the ejector won't get a good hit on it.  This is a very common problem either with a bad roll pin or weak tension.  Start troubleshooting there.

Shimming the ejector will lock up the actuator and therefore no bolt hold open.  SBR7_11 do you have a Hahn "precision" adapter?

They are all loose (the 10 or so I've seen)

First bend the ejector so it's rubbing the bolt (toward the center of the bolt) Sometimes you have to over bend a little because the ejector is so loose it will not hit the rear of the cartridge correctly. If that doesn't fix your issue, have someone TIG, machine, and screw the ejector so it says in place.  The bolt hold open still works with a non floating ejector.

Nice Mod. M60. What mag block(s) do you pefer to use, Colt/RRA 1pc, Colt 2pc, or the Hahn "If its the Hahn then which model?"

For AR's, if you are using the bolt hold open mags the 2 pcs set up. Dedicate a lower receiver to 9mm. Pinned in place and and no moving around. Hahn comes in next IMHO

UZI mags the Hy-Tech.

All the 1 pc adapters can be positioned in place and pinned as well. (RLL and RDIAS a plus...)

Dedicated 9mm 2pc mag well adapter
