My Ceiner doesnt reliably reset the hammer, even when well lubed.  I'm thinking a lighter hammer spring might help.  Where can I find one?

eta; I'm trying to get it to run with subsonics.  Standard/high velocity work fine.

JP makes a light spring set.  You could also try bending your existing spring.

JP springs wont always strike my Ciener hard enough to fire...YMMV.

I can see what you are trying to do...but you may just create another problem.  Have you polished the shit out of all metal-to-metal contact pionts on your Ciener? Mirror smooth is what I did...

You have to call or email them to order they have no web order form but its the only place I have found with all the springs for a ciener setup.

My Ciener kit runs 100% with a yellow JP hammer spring and WalMart Federal  bulk pack.

JP springs, and i cut the hook off my hammer to make it a lo-mass like the one's JP offers.

I also polished the engagement surfaces Without removing any material. Mine ended up being a real crisp 4lb trigger pull with the 3lb springs.

polish your kit, you shouldn't need to mess with your hammer spring to make it run reliably...if you do, you compromise 5.56 reliability

if this is a dedicated 22 gun, just pull one leg of the hammer spring off of the trigger pin. let it rest down in the receiver, that will work, or just slightly bend your hammer spring.

Nice.

Have you tried Lakeside Machines spring kit?  I have 2 on order but they haven't shown up yet.
