| Looking to buy a .22 LR upper for some 50 yd open sight competition. I have checked out the DPMS CMP model and was looking for something in that line. Does anyone have any suggestions on what .22lr upper would be the best for me. It has to be pretty accurate too. Thanks |

Compass Lake Engineering CLE can provide you with a match quality complete upper ($$$), or turn a barrel to your specs for a very reasonable sum. They are based on a slightly modified m261 kit... the stock m261 'barrel/chamber insert' is replaced with a guide tab to allow the m261 to interface with the CLE barrel that is chambered natively for .22 LR. I've built two uppers with custom barrels from them and both have been fantastic. |
