Where is the cheapest place to get one of these and what is the best type to use?

I use a Finnish Suomi SMG, Magazine Loader, and it works great. Very similar to the way the Lula works for 556 ARs. I just found them for $5. here.

ive got the steel one that fits over the end and has a steel pressor. they are like the glock type, but in steel and i like it alot.

i cant remember where i got them from, but they are what was madeup during the war and they were only ~ 2.00 each.

Ring loader, about $30 at Ohio Ordnance, box loader, about $13 at Tactical Inc.

I use the ring more often, as I can load the mags faster.. the box loader gets used on the mag that holds 40 S&W.

Due to variances with the Sten mags, you will find the ring loader will need to be held down onto the mag on some mags, as the latch on the rear of the loader will have clearance with those mags that the skin does not go down low enough to hold the loader snug to top of mag.... you'll figure it real quick when you snap it onto a mag and it move up-down.

I have the ring loader, and honestly, I like the old spoon type better....

anyone have a good deal on one?
