Less then 300 rounds total and with new design mags 1.extractor broke behind the roll pin towards the spring 2.federal (round nose), remington(round nose) & winchester(hollow point) rounds with all mags jam between bolt and chamber a. it seems the entrance angle of bullet to chamber is too steep for no feed ramp at the chamber 3. bolt has trouble closing a. action gritty (clean & lubed) I checked for burrs on the bolt dragging in the plastic Maybe I should have gone with reliability instead of cool factor for a youth interduction to the shooting sports! |

I take it you have the Carbon 15 upper? The dragging issue I have seen with Bushy on a non-Busy lower is the bolt hanging up on the bolt stop/release in the lower, have a look there. I have a 20" Bushy and it has a little ramp, I do think there are different barrel extensions for the 16" and 20" barrels. |
