Ok, so not sure where to put this exactly, but since its in regards to a .22LR Ciener conversion kit, I'll post it here.. Please feel free to move this if appropriate. I'm just curious, about a couple of things: 1) if anyone has ordered from deltaforce.com and had an item put on backorder, did they contact you to let you know it was on backorder, to let you back out and look for the item somewhere else? Or no contact and you're just screwed until you get it? 2) Is that everyone else's experience in most places? (Mine has been they let you know so you can back out of your order, have partial shipment, or wait till its all in stock) 3) Are the Ciener kits just hard to get right now? Thanks! I ordered one (FA M16 version) from them on Thursday without knowing if they were in stock or not figuring everyone else was backordered and would have to wait anyway. I just got the curtesy UPS email yesterday showing shipped with delivery date of 11 July. A plesant surprise. I hope it is worth the trouble I had searching for one. I had never heard of Delta but found it by googling "ciener kit .22 m16". Like everyone here, I had tried CTD, Brownells, model1 etc. with no luck. I'm still going to hold my breath until the 11th trusting that deltaforce is a reputable company. |

Well hopefully you only ordered the kit... otherwise, its most likely just a partial shipment like I had received. I sent them an email letting them know how displeased I was that they did that shady shipment without notification of backorder, the day that I received my shipment. I still haven't even gotten a response of any kind back from them. I personally won't be ordering from them again, unless I actually got some kind of response from my email. |
WOW! Are you still waiting? I ordered 2 other items plus the kit and got everything, including the kit today. No backorders. I ordered the M16 version with 30rd mag and it's complete with the weight, sear-trip and in perfect shape. Even though I'm happy this time with thier service and the items, I doubt I will order from them again. The kit was almost $15 more than Model1 and the other places that sold the M16 version but only did it with them to avoid a backorder. I hope you get yours soon and it's in the same condition as mine. |

So just another update, for those interested at all. Still never got a response to my email. I also called Thursday afternoon, and was told the shipping guy was gone, so the woman was not able to pull up information on when the part would be in. Asked for my phone number, and said they would call me back Friday... Its now saturday... and I'm still waiting for that phone call. |
