I have a RRA A4 9mm on order and was wondering will any BUIS work or is there special ones designed for 9mm?  I will at some point put a reddot on it that is why I am looking for which BUIS to buy.  Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure you can get away w/ putting any BUIS on it.  Something you might want to think about before you buy is what BUIS/scope/optics will co-witness if you want to go that route or if you are primarily using a red dot and you want the BUIS folded down and out of the way.  I have a LMT fixed rear/Eotech/standard A2 sight on my 9mm and it works great.

TROY is the best.

LaRue is the simplest.

ARMS, LMT, MI, ...are all quite good.

My advice - get the red dot FIRST.  Get the BUIS later.

I like the ARMS 40L-SP on mine,
but agree you should buy your scope first.

+1 Try to get your red dot sight first.

Either the S.P.O.T. Mark III, Aimpoint, and EOTech red dot sights are fine.

I would just like to add to the list you should take a look at are GG&G BUIS.

I also have a RRA A4 9mm complete carbine that I built myself with Hahn mag block.

Thanks guys, I will do that.  I think I will go with the Eotech or cheaper Bushnell holosight being as how I still need an Eotech for my RRA CAR with dominator yet.
