I found them in one of the threads, they use a Colt clone and the kits comes with evrything you need except the lower including the block which takes Colt Uzi and Promags , they go for $600 + s/h http://www.garrisonmfginc.com/9mmk.php I figure another $100 for the Spikes lower i want and i am out the door for $700 plus transfer fee $30. 2 questions for you guys, 1 ) any one have any experiance with these kits? 2) is the cost about right? or can i do it for cheaper? |

Here's the info i've gotten from them through emails... "We get our barrels from Wilson arms, our carriers and upper receivers are made by a Colt vendor, and the rest are acquired from various sources in the industry. If you buy the complete kit for $600 plus shipping, the only other thing you will need is a stripped lower receiver, magazines, and a sling. The hammer that comes with the kit will eliminate the hammer/bolt carrier issue. The upper will have a hand guard and is completely assembled." "We just reconfigured the order page to accommodate selecting A-2 and A-3 configurations. Our mag block fits into the lower from the top and requires no set screws or roll pins. It has no bolt catch on it. We sell a 9mm bolt catch separately. You can use factory Colt or Pro-mags if yu want to hold open on the last round with a 9mm bolt catch. Modified Uzi mags never hold open on the last round. " |
