RRA Hammer Compatability Question > Rimfire and Pistol Calibers

The picture below shows a current production Rock River Arms 9mm hammer. Are there any known compatibility issues with this hammer design and the ramped bolt carriers and are there any NFA issues with this combination.

If I am recalling correctly, that hammer will work fine w/ a ramped bolt.

NO NFA issues there, thats just a 9mm hammer. Not a F/A hammer. Ramped bolt doesn't matter either, I am ramping my bolt to smooth out the operation.

9mm hammer with a ramped bolt, may or may not work. My advice, to have one you know will work, by a DPMS standard AR15 hammer for $12. and use it with the ramped bolt.

Does anyone have a picture of a full auto 9mm hammer? Or does the FA 9mm use an M16 hammer? I have a Colt 9mm hammer but I want to make sure it is SA and not FA. As far as I can tell it looks like the RRA in the first post.

A full-auto AR-15 regardless of caliber is a M16. Thus it will have M16 trigger group to allow the cyclic function of full auto. See below -

It is a semi-auto part.... where you going to snag the auto-sear ? all the material needed to support the auto-sear lug is missing from the "9mm" hammer.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking but I'm not up on the FA stuff and wanted to make sure I will be legal.
