[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Light primer strikes

I get a light primer strike on about every 2nd or 3rd round most of the time. The rifle has about 500 through it. The problem started with commercial ammo after about 150 rounds. My reloads worked consistently until about the 300 round point. Any ideas?

Setup:
Cav Mk II lower
DPMS internals
Oly 45 upper

The Wolff spring helped. Today out of 370 rounds there were only 12 light strikes. Much better than the 5+ per magazine before.

Could it be a problem with the bolt closing all the way?

You might want to try asking this in the Troubleshooting form. They are very good with this stuff.
