So, I bring my 9mm AR to a gunsmith, and he measures the threads on the flash hider I want to use.  It is 1/2 x 36TPI.  Question: is AAC Evolution-9 supressor offered in such a thread?  Also, I have a Glock 19 that needs a Evo-9 badly.  Will I be able to get a threaded barrel with same specs?  What about my Browning Hi-Power?

My head is spinning.  Should I get another flash hider using a different thread?  What thread should I standardize if I want to use the same Evo-9 can on everything?

Colt used the 1/2X36 so that a std. 1/2X28 .223 hider could be put on thier guns.  Get the barrel threaded 1/2X28 use a std. .223 flash hider and drill it out to pass 9mm bullets.

You could probably get the 1/2X36 adapter for the Evolution 9 but the other barrels will be more std. in 1/2X28
