I was wondering if Colt is the only game in town for chrome lined 9mm barrels? If so, is there any place I can get Colt barrels by themselves? Also, which would be a better alternative to chrome lined, chrome moly or stainless? Thanks |

Chrome lining is nice....but for 9mm....it is not important. The 5.56mm benifits greatly from it because of the expanding brass in the chamber and the high pressure gasses in the throat/rifling. Stainless would be a great option....Colt barrels are very expensive......most handguns work well without those options. |
