Does the RRA 9mm rifle function the same as the Colt 6450? I am wondering about parts as well as how the magazine locks in place and ejects.

I would say parts are interchangeable. With regards to the magazine, they should lock in place and eject the same unless you are using a VM Hytech mag block..
