I have been wanting the 45 for a while, and when I saw Del-ton has it for $489.99 I could not help my self.  I ordered the flat top post ban.  I mainly care about the colapsable stock more than the threaded barrel and bayo lug......at least for this upper.  Plus I want to shoot it now!!!

Damn this is sweet!!!!!!!  Shoots like a dream.

Went to the range and there were 5 people next to me, two experienced shooters teaching 3 people who had never shot any guns before.  I let them all shoot, and everyone had a big grin.

When I tried to shoot accuratly rather than just empty the mag as fast as I could, I just shot big ragged holes.  But most of the time I was just having a great time emptying my magazine.

I shot 100 rounds of American brand remanufactured ammo.  Cheapest, dirtiest, lowest quality 45 ammo I have ever shot, I consider Wolf to be higher quality.  But NO malfunctions.  Oh yea, me and this rifle are going to get along great.

You'll have a lot of fun with that upper! Just have plenty of ammo cause you'll burn it up fast. I have 2 pistol cal ARs both Olys and they run flawlessly.  I don't have your problem of getting hi cap mags as my guns are 9mm and I use Sten mags. Enjoy!

It came with a 10 round Uzi mag with the block welded on.  Its Olympics standard magazine.

I'd highly suggest buying a Cav Mk2 lower and setting up mag blocks for the M3 greasegun mags.  I did it and love it.   Sure I'm limited to a fixed stock but the 30 shot mags for $12-15 are great.  It's an easy project and well worth it.   You'll love that upper, damned reliable and I'd suggest staying away from Wolf.  It's eye burning nasty and underloaded.

If you need Uzi .45 mags to convert post AWB there's some on the EE here www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=92&t=219550

I notice that Oly still makes machined FSBs.

Man, that upper would look sweet with a Vortex on it!  I'm trying to talk Ron Smith at Smith Enterprises to build a Vortex for the guys in the .458 Group Buy - it would fit the .45 ACP perfect and look great!

Spooky
