Hello,
I recently picked up a used kit for my AR. Today while shooting it, it worked fine for a while and then started jamming.  I took it apart and the spring was sticking out the back and it was mangled. I need a new spring. Can I only get this from Ciener? Also, is there some other problem that woul cause this to happen? Like should the sholder on that recoil spring hold the spring in place?
Thanks
Chip

The popular trend is to get a spring from Eric at Lakeside Machine.  Dano has contact info, so hopefully he will show up and provide the right address.  The spring is supposedly a bit heavier and longer, so cut to fit will be needed.

With out a pic to see your concern, I'll have to look at mine tonight.

Kuehl lists spare parts for the Cieners too.  His would be stock parts that don't need modification like the Lakeside Machine ones.
