Newbe to AR15.com here!
Forgive me if I'm asking a repetitive question.  I'm currently building my first AR in 9mm.  Recently I've noticed some sites selling special buffers for the 9mm.  Unfortunately I've already purchased an ACE Tactical short stock with buffer and spring.  I'm assuming its really for the .223 cal.  Will I run into problems when I get it put together?  Do I need to goahead and buy the "9MM set-up, or should I just leave it as is?  Any and all advise is greatly appreciated!

There are well respected Arfcom members that are running standard buffers in their 9mm's.....
I personally could not get it to work, With the standard CAR buffer I had a lot of bolt bounce,..
I would advise that you use the 9mm buffer,  With the "Colt" 9mm system you have about a 75% chance of it running on the first try, Nothing major, just some tweaking..... Best to remove as many varibles as possible right at the start...............UDOG
