Does anyone have a solution that allows for a removable or fixed front sight for the bull barrel dpms (low pro I think) 22lr upper and a rock river removable carry handle?

One solution would be to have a gunsmith turn the barrel down in front of the handguard and then install a front sight base.  

You might check out some of the DCM-type sites and see if anybody makes a front sight that fits on the heavier barrel profiles.

I bought a bull barel front sight from DPMS; this has a .995" hole which I had a local machine shop drill out to 1.001" which then could be fitted over the 22LR barrel. (This was a VERY tight fit. If I were doing it again, I would probably get the hole enlarged to 1.01".) This is paired with an A3 carry handle rear sight, and it works.

The front sight is dpms BL-18B and it starts out at .936" (corrects my previous post)
