I guess I would examine the trigger bar disco slot to make sure it has free range of motion? Edit: didn’t see h2, definitely get h3. Hammer is following, as I hear no click. Looked at live rounds I picked up, very slight firing pin dent. I still have a few uppers to test. |

I asked this question in the larger thread in the GD, but so far no one has responded. I'll drop it here to see if y'all know the answer. What is it that allows for fast follow up shots? I can easily make single shots and transition to multiples and back to single, but my brain does not know exactly what my finger is doing to allow for this. I don't mean that I can't make intentional singles, I'm just wondering why I can make singles easily, and also just as easily do multiples? |

Nice video! I was mesmerized by the slow motion shell ejections! So Cool! I have one in a 9mm PCC that functioned perfect the first time. No problems. The second one is a 5.56 carbine that would only fire one or two. Changed the hammer after watching a video about it and it worked fine. Oh, it has an H2 buffer in it. The third is a 300 BLK carbine and it worked perfectly. No need to change anything. Glad to see yours is good to go. |

That explains my issue, swapping my trigger out today with a non-Colt. Thanks for linking the video! *edit Swapped in the stock trigger from a 716 Tread, works perfectly...now I want to put one in a 716 Tread rifle. |

I have a colt 6951 that I’m trying to run with my kicker and I’m not wanting to grind down the weight in my colt bcg. I imagine the tromix 9mm buffer will finish this up. |
| I swapped my bcg out for a side charging BCA BCG just to see how/if it would work. It worked perfectly, I could hit singles easily, multiples easily, it ejected just fine at 0330 ish, and the bcg would lock back on an empty mag. |

It apparently conforms neither to statements made by Bill Geissele about his G42 braided buffer spring nor Dave Tubbs on his flat wire AR15 spring. They both state in their videos that their springs are circa +15% above a standard carbine spring. Sprinco's own data on their webpage also differs with the ranking of springs and the number of pounds of each spring. Dave Tubbs video in which he tests various AR15 carbine springs seems to support Sprinco's claims. Just as a data point, I shot some today and used my shot timer. PMC XTac 55g shot at a rate of .12 split, with some random reloads that I bought at an LG S reaching a .10 split. I haven't run the math to see what that would be per minute. With both I could do singles at will, so I'm less interested in a three position Selector than I previously was. |

I installed one of my TK's today. I'm switching out my SS for the TK in my 22 build. It was fighting me so I eventually read the instructions . Forgot to pull out the spring for the disconnect . I guess I like making things harder than they need to be.

Tony Tony, if you are referring to me, then you have misread my post. I was not calling you out. It was not to discredit you. How could it be? I did not know that you had collected your own data. You only revealed the source of your data after the fact. My question was an honest question. It remains an honest question. After you read this post, go back as reread my other post in the light I present here. I think that you will come to a different conclusion. I honestly thought that you had found the data on the internet. It never occurred to me that it was your personal data. I wanted to go look at the primary data and how it was collected. Both Bill Geissele and Dave Tubbs do that in their videos. Both videos feature testing devices developed by Geissele and Tubbs. They showed us how they arrived at their data. I found no similar videos by Sprinco describing their springs, so I linked to their website which contains the results of their testing. I didn't put the post together to shed you in a bad light. It was simply to say that other tests had yielded different results. Springs have long interested me. I saved that stuff from the videos over the months and years. I mentioned that Bill's video is, I think, about 10 years old. When I come across an interesting video, I save the URL with other URLs of similar nature. So "the montage" has all been saved together for a while. "The huge ass montage" was a cut and paste from my notes, much of which I have posted earlier in other threads. It was nothing new. It was not pointed at you. In fact, I never even considered that you had developed the data yourself. I thought that other people in the thread who had not viewed the Geissele and Tubbs videos might find them interesting at the moment. It was just part of us educating ourselves on springs. If you had initially indicated that the data was that which you had developed, then I would have known that and would not have asked that. If you had provided a source, as you should have, none of this would have happened. I would have asked my questions differently. Never have I been disrespectful to you, as you have been to me. I did not intend to discredit you. Again, your interpretation of my post is wildly off base. I still wonder why your data is different from theirs. You could be right and they could be wrong. I may be confused and am applying apples to oranges. I wonder what your testing fixture looked like and the process followed to arrive at the different results. That is simply scientific methodology. None of my post was intended in a negative sense. I have not done any scientific testing on springs and therefore have nothing to add in that regard. All of my knowledge of springs is either anecdotal or from study. And, I will grant, I still know little about springs. But, it is my thesis that, in the FRT realm, not enough attention is being paid to other springs in the AR, not just buffer springs. I was not challenging you, therefore, there was no call out. I hope that you have had your coffee by now. |

Tested out a 12.5" & 14.5" upper today with the Trigger Kicker + Tromix H3. Hooooolyyyy shit!!!! Both uppers ran like greased lightning with 55 grain PMC and some random hollow point 5.56 (either 68 or 75 grain Frontier). Only one failure to reset of the trigger, but a quick tap rack and it ran 5-6 full mags with no other issues. Definitely going to buy more of the Tromix buffers and the Trigger Kickers. |

Nope. No joy..... I guess I gotta start with checking all my trigger, hammer, parts. Hundred bucks into this thing and I'm thinking I shoulda bought another of what I have already. 16" sub moa BCA stainless upper with cryptec fa carrier, 10.5" LWRC complete upper, and a 7.5" stainless BCA upper all ran perfect with a partisan and an H2. This is gonna be just for the 7.5". |
| I installed mine in my Colt LSW clone tonight. Got a lot of bolt binding similar to the original super safety when you didn't cut the upper or put quarters in the buffer tube. I polished the tip of the kicker but may still put something in the buffer tube as well. |

Between their 7.5” pistol uppers to 20” A4 uppers with chf barrels they’re all $190-$250 with bcg and that’s pretty tempting. I kinda want the side charger 556 upper too because it’s kinda cool. I have half a dozen FRTs and a bunch of lowers. Are they worth buying I have like 10 in my shopping cart lol. As far as the trigger kicker goes, I received my Tromix 9mm buffer yesterday and my KAK 9mm bcg should be here tomorrow. I’ve got one trigger kicker in a Colt 6721 AR15A4, and been trying to get one into this 9mm 6951. Didn’t want to modify the factory bcg internal weight so I just ordered the KAK. |

I have several complete uppers, and took apart a side charging upper, and put a BA, 6mm ARC barrel on. No issues so far besides buying another charging handle and it constantly coming loose. Went back to the BCA factory one, and coming loose issues are gone. My 3 uppers with barrels are a 20" straight fluted hb, and a m4 profile 16" stainless. Those 2 love 60 gr v max's in under an inch. The stainless 7.5", is a blaster, but so far, minute of pie plate at 50 yards with 55gr fmj's. Haven't gotten serious with it yet. I'm looking at buying another upper, but not sure yet ???? |

I got my KAK enhanced 9mm bcg today and it’s basically a Colt clone. The kicker hits the bcg weight instead of the carrier trip. I have a colt 6721 with the sear web and it function checks fine. I swapped everything over from the 6721 and it did the same thing the precious FCG did, so that eliminated an FCG issue. Next I’m going to removed the weight from the KAK bcg and hand cycle it to see if it function checks then. If it does then I will likely trim the weight down. I have the file to 3d print the jig for that. It probably wouldn’t need much weight removed and I’ve got a tromix 9mm buffer in it now. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do any of this until next week. |

So installed a trigger kicker in one of my 5d tactical created 80% lowers. It fired fine, but I found if I hold back the trigger with full force it stopped one time and even slowed down the rate of fire. Guess I have a ramped trigger, but to me it didnt looked ramped where the trigger kicker is inserted. Med to light trigger pressure and that trigger just rips. I only fired three mags, yet for $43 this thing is a winner. Hats off to Mr Hoffman, amazing how simple this thing is and easy to install. I used a spikes T3 buffer and standard carbine spring. |
