Well this surprised me. Cut my third G trigger for a v1. This time a SD-E. Installed in Noveske lower. Barrel is Noveske 14.5” midlength light weight SS, with a SiCo Saker attached. G H buffer and spring. Preemptively put another tungsten weight in. Function checked 100%. Live fire was 3-5 rounds then light primer strike. Put a third tungsten weight in, same thing. Swapped to standard carbine spring, same thing. Put my Colt 10.3” suppressed upper on and ran a full mag without issue. I was originally thinking I got an arcfire that would need a shim, but apparently my 14.5” mid gas bbl has more gas than my Colt 10.3”? Ordered a KAK DBC to try with the 14.5” and work backwards on weights. Ammo was just shitty WPA steel case. I use that for test n tune, then make sure everything works with brass 5.56 and call it good. |
