Oh jeez, like I need another project... Anyway, I was looking at the Dark Mountain survival rifle, and suddenly got the wild hair to possibly create one based on an AR. As the idea developed, it seemed more and more "do-able". AR upper, and AR lower with everything unnecessary for a single shot take down survival rifle milled off. No sweat. Plug the upper buffer tube hole, and rig a wire folder stock. Not an issue. The bolt, with no gas system in place, would not come out of battery until you pulled on the charging handle. That works. I have converted guns to side charging before, and that would be a good idea to do to shove the bolt into battery when loading. (No buffer spring to do the job.) Basically then, screw on a barrel, and done. I don't see any problems here, do you guys?? Vettepilot |

So... I find comfort in the fact that if Trump has to work so hard to go to Heaven, then there is a shit load of Democrats that have no f-cking chance to go anywhere but HELL. Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a sledge-hammer.
