Need some input please. Not new to shooting or ARs....but I know what I do know and what I don't know.Anyhow, here's my ?, I have a new factory complete upper, it has a semi profile bolt carrier, I want to replace it with an auto profile.. If I throw a new carrier on the new bolt that came in this upper from the factory, will/can I run into a headspace issue? Seems to me that the carrier alone will not affect headspacing. Am I correct? Again, new bolt, new carrier, new barrel(factory test fired only). Go easy on me.

Carrier won't affect headspace.

Unless you also change carrier treatments (can make them easier to clean) you won't notice much change at all with a auto BCG.
