Hello all,
As a Scandinavian I am exited to be able to get enjoy the hobby of sports shooting the AR15 when I am in Texas with my friends. I am looking into the options and if anyone has any suggestions on a build in a "money is no object" scenario then please comment. It is going to be used for range shooting, and light hunting. no home defense. And hopefully some tactical shooting and if talent permits 3Gun events. my thoughts so far: Daniel Defense carbine (what model?) I am thinking M4A1 (perhaps Mil spec?) magpul ACS-L buttstock MBUS pro offset front and rear sights MOE M-lok hand guard PMAG's with ranger plate picatinny rail vertical grip (DD) Trijicon ACOG Tac Con 3MR trigger (I understand I need a mil spec lower to use this trigger, is that correct?) If anyone care to comment then please do not consider cost in this build. After reading a lot on this forum I see that cost is a big consideration and understandably so, but at the same time I see people happily pay unnecessary money to upgrade cars, hifi and toys without any concern. |
