| Good evening everyone. This is my first post and I'm happy to announce I am a new member to the AR-15 world. I purchased a Bushmaster M4 ar15 yesterday and due to Illinois 24 hour waiting period of a long rifle I KNEW I would not be able to sleep tonight! Just got done ordering 3 Magpul mags, combat grip, new handguard, muzzle brake. plano gun guard case, etc. This is my first rifle. I'm a HUGE fan of Sig Sauer and just recently picked up the Sig P250 9mm and couldn't be happier. But the "heart is where the AR is". I just received 1000 rounds of 556 federal american eagle from bulkammo.com and plan on hammering a good 300-450 thru the Bush tomorrow. I'm really excited to be a part of this forum. Have a great night everyone! |

Welcome to the forum. You're gonna learn a lot, and have fun at the same time. Post pics when you get a chance. We'd like to see the new arrival. It's true. I haven't been on the sight for long but looking back I learned a lot of detailed information about guns without even realizing it was happening. Any question can be answered here. |
Only 3 PMags?!
Son, these are the fucking golden days of AR parts. Go on over to DSG and pick up a 10 pack for $79.95. Oh yeah, welcome to ARFcom! |

And so the bottomless money pit of a new AR shooter begins anew.... LOL ! Welcome aboard ! Take photos now of the various stuff you just bought... that way after you have completely modified your rifle you can show what you started with ! Hahaha. I'm a big fan of modifying anything. I just can't stand things that are cookie cutter so I have to try to make everything my own but in a tasteful way of course. But I can't already tell this is going to be a very expensive habit I just picked up. Every time I hear Obama talk I say to myself "better stock up on high cap mags, a few more rifles, etc". Not sure if the "ban" is actually coming, but if it does, I'm all good. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I've found that most gun veterans really get annoying with rookies such as myself and I get it. At the same time, everyone has to start somewhere. I've always wanted to be a firearms owners and after 30 years I finally am and it feels great. CCL is next on the agenda. |
