I wasn't all that thrilled with their initial offerings (they were nearly identical to Bushys spec wise), but as time goes on, they're clearly tailoring to the customers, and using better components. |

Stuck in the past last I checked. Non F sight bases. Commercial stock tube sizes. Large M4 handguards in the barrel kits limited offerings on barrel choices. I wish they had stayed with the old spring and hammer /trigger suppliers they used to use.
But best chambers out of the box accuracy for price I have seen. I would buy a complete gun from them if that is what I was looking for but I wish they were where I would consider them my go to parts people. I really wish they were more like the old Quality Parts company/Bushmaster that used to be my go to place to buy. |

I absolutely agree. Windham is starting to make all the right changes... |

I bought an SRC the year they came out under the new name Windham.
I honestly have been very impressed. The SRC was branded for an entry level weapon. This thing has constantly put together 1 in groups. And I'm not a marksman. It was my first ar and I'll prolly never sell it. It eats everything I feed it and keeps on pumping. Has around 5k rounds down the pipe. Just about every magazine has an article on them. Easy to find information on them and their customer service is exceptional. |

Windham weaponry is owned and opersyted by the same staff that owned bushmaster. Bushmaster sold out to Remington. The owner signed a "no compete" clause.
After that clause ended, he reopened in the same facility bushmaster was in. Now, they took the old platform and revamped the rifles. Some of they're rifles are on the top end of engineering. While some are for first time owners. They're hired nearly everyone from the prior bushmaster company. Obviously they all had a great product, so Windham got off to a fast start and are doing well. Like I have posted prior, I love my Windham. 1moa groups from my SRC and an eotech \magnifier _combo. Pic below, Windham's on the right. They have magpul enhanced stuff now and great looking free floats. http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa368/Meathead11/20130502_212546-1.jpg |
