Putting together a 16" .300 Blackout with carbine length gas system. .750 barrel diameter. I want to use either stock M4 hand guards or Magpul MOE. There are a plethora of low profile gas blocks but few flat top or A2 models. Recommendations?

I may use JP enterprises A2 model, but no bayo lug or sling loop. Not a deal killer. $135 is pricy but I may not have a choice.

I found one picatinny model but am. OT familiar with the manufacturer.

Any machinists mod original A2 blocks?

I'm in the market for the same type of adjustable A2 type gas block. I saw the JP one and it might be the only option.

It was that or drill a normal FSB and tap the hole for a set screw to make your own. Thats a bit beyond my skill set.

Would love to hear if there is another option.

There are enough manufacturers of aftermarket gas blocks that I would think that someone would take to modifying the stock A2 fsb.

I  ordered the JP Enterprises unit. I  did not want to spend that much money on the gas block, but if I got a regular less expensive gas block then I would have to free float handguard and that ends up costing a ton.

The JP Enterprises unit should be here in a day or two. I'll try to remember to update this. The one nice thing about the JP block is that I don't have to stake the sight.
