Evening fellas,

I picked up what was described as an "early Colt model fiberlite 3 position, commercial diameter buttstock."

Now, I bought this under the assumption that it is NOT Colt because Colt didn't make commercial diameter stocks (correct me if I'm wrong). I just wanted a cheap stock to use as substitute. After inspecting this thing, it feels a little TOO cheap and has "casting" circles all over one side. Basically, I'm afraid I've picked up some sort of air soft knockoff.

There are no markings on it whatsoever. There is a small pin hole on top that appears to be threaded?  I forgot to snap pictures before work, so all I have is from the for sale ad. Any idea who made this?

definitely not colt.  i've seen this style on early pwa, sendra, essential arms...

not airsoft but the plastic does feel cheapish and sounds tinny but will hold up.

That's a commercial plastics stock that's a copy of the Colt-style aluminum CAR stocks. The Colt fiber stocks (and accurate clones) have a different design (look for reinforcing ribs along the side of the stock where the extension slides).

Thanks for the info everyone. Looks like a glossy black paint job is in the works.

This stock is a close match to a milspec Colt stock.

The M&A parts stock is a really close match to the Colt N.  That stock is not.
