| Today I picked up my stripped lower, and my complete m4 moe rifle kit from PALMETTO STATE ARMORY! Time from ordering to showing up at my door was only 12 days. I am very happy with the service I received from PSA. They have apparently fixed their long wait issues. Anyways, the build went smoothly (without any specialty tools). I was able to get all the roll pins in easily (I squeezed the end a little with pliers to make starting them easier). The hardest was the detent for the.... pin at the back of the rifle(takedown or pivot pin?). MOE buttstock is kind of rattly but I can live with it. There is a tiny bit of wiggle between the upper and lower but it's hardly noticeable. I don't have any optics to put on it so I'm running a gen 1 MBUS (got a front and rat set at a gun show for $20 total). Finish on the rifle is superb. The lower is a blem but I'm not sure why. There were a couple scuffs on one side that came right off with a little spit on my finger. I finished assembly after dark so I have to wait until tomorrow to test her out (damn shooting hours). Not sure how to post pics from my phone or else I would. I'm sure you guys can picture a plain black ar15. Haha |
