[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Do I need a different buffer?

I just got PSA 20" complete upper, rifle length gas system,

and I'm putting it on a Bushmaster Patrolman M4 style carbine

lower. Will I need to put in a heavier buffer? What are the signs

indicating need to change buffer?

Sorry if this is a newb/obvious question, my first time

mixing and matching parts.

I wouldn't change it unless I experienced extraction problems.

I doubt you'd need one. But more than likely any of them, all the way up to 9mm would work. I've never done it though. But the gas system on a 20" is probably the least picky out of all of them.
